The project “SoundBeatsTime- SBT” is carried out by Yellow Shirts Association (Romania) in partnership with Giosef – Giovani Senza Frontiere (Italy) and the Institutul Roman de Educatie a Adultilor (Romania) and takes place from March 2021 to June 2023.

The main goal of the SBT project is to provide young people with the skills necessary to gain financial benefits from the cultural sector, particularly the music industry, through a platform that offers various courses, materials, interviews, forums, discussions with experts, and much more.

The context of this project is based on the need in this specific cultural sector to develop online tools and platforms to overcome the inability to carry out physical activities, as was the case with the Covid-19 pandemic. Looking more closely at the music field, Covid-19 created the “ideal” period for enrolling in specialization courses, research, reading, and personal development. However, after a brief search for music courses, it became clear that the results were quite low, and many of these courses were very expensive. Young musicians had the time but limited access to information due to the high costs.
