Engaging new generations in innovative,
collaborative and multidimensional actions that address global challenges.
COVID-19 and the escalation of armed conflicts present the younger generation with a choice between individual solutions and a comprehensive approach based on care. The ethic of care drives civic movements such as #FridaysForFuture and #MeToo, highlighting the central role of young people in shaping public policy. Growing youth participation focuses on issues such as gender violence, climate change and education. In this context, the YOU(TH) CARE FOR CHANGE project aims to actively involve new generations in the construction of transformative agendas in the EuroMediterranean area.
YOU(th) CARE FOR CHANGE is a project focusing on the involvement and empowerment of the younger generation to promote global care, sustainability and gender equality. Through activities such as youth association mapping, capacity building through coaching and peer-to-peer exchanges, and participatory meetings to define local agendas, the project aims to strengthen youth active citizenship. The final phase includes a forum on gender equality and social and ecological transition, accompanied by the Women Youth Med campaign to raise awareness and mobilise public support.
